60 km = 37 Miles of Bliss

Well…not quite. But it still went really well

On Tuesday, I successfully completed 60 km on my erg (rowing machine). It took 5 hours and 35 minutes, including bathroom breaks, stopping to stretch, and I even answered the phone (don't ask me why, because even I don't know…)

Here's a quick video recap of the highlights. Takes about 10 minutes to watch.

Michelle, I could almost feel the exhaustion, pain, and emotion watching you. That was good to see, interesting, guys are usually more filtered. The 60k is quite an accomplishment, even if 'only' a stepping stone for the ultimate 100k. Celebrate, you deserve it.

Hi Greg. I’m really glad you saw what I was trying to show – that this wasn’t easy or glamorous. I think people need to see that more often. Thanks for your comments and for your kind words :)

As a rower myself, I admire you to do this. Having this goal, this will-power and endurance is impressive. Keep on working! You'll make it.

Amazing and inspiring. Really helps me get over the mental block I have to rowing a marathon. I used to run them but rowing is a whole different thing, I can see/feel your pain based on my little half marathons. Great stuff. Keep up the great effort
