Total Tally from the Weekend
Last Saturday, my fabulous support team collected over $800 dollars from people walking past the stage where we held the igo100 charity row at West Edmonton Mall. From what I gather, the further I rowed, the more money was donated. If I looked as bad as I felt, I can see why people would feel sorry for me and try to make me feel better by donating.
Combined with online donations, the grand total for the school in Guipombo as it stands tonight is $17, 176.00. And it’s not over yet – I’m still collecting money to add to the total.
This was a short post, since I ran out of time today – I’ll write more tomorrow.
Below is a shot of me somewhere between 90 and 97 km. I was eating potato chips to get salt since I was crashing hard, but it was a struggle to keep them in my stomach.

Regardless of things and how they went. This was and still is in my view an amazing effort. Once again showing what is possible when we put our mind to it.

Thanks! You’re right – it is pretty amazing what we are capable of doing. I never believed I could do this, until I decided to do it
